About this section

What this section shows and how to use it

The trading terminal brings together everything needed for technical analysis of a coin on one screen: a chart with configurable timeframes, live price, daily turnover, funding and time to the next settlement, and order book densities.

The index price is shown separately - the live spot price on Binance, the midpoint between the best bid and ask. The gap between the futures price and the index price shows a premium or discount: when futures drift far from spot, the market is overheated.

Technical analysis is not only about chart patterns. Levels, order book densities, liquidation clusters and funding skew describe the same picture from different angles, and the terminal puts them side by side so you do not have to switch tabs.

Frequently asked questions

What is the index price?

The live spot price of the coin on Binance, the midpoint between the best bid and ask. It is the reference against which the futures premium is measured.

What does a futures premium to spot indicate?

Overheating. When futures trade noticeably above spot, there are too many leveraged buyers, and this usually comes with high funding.

Which timeframes are available?

From one minute to daily. The choice depends on your horizon: intraday traders watch minutes and hours, position traders watch hours and days.

Why are some pairs missing from the terminal?

The terminal shows coins Binance trades as a classic pair against USDT or USDC. Stablecoins, derivative wrappers and rare pairs are left out: there is no practical point in trading them.
