Pump and dump scanner
A scanner for sharp price moves. The market map shows at a glance what surged or dropped over the last few minutes, while rules send a notification when a chosen coin moves according to the conditions you set.
About this section
This section shows sharp directional price moves with high volume over a few minutes. A pump is a sharp rise, a dump is a sharp fall. The market map shows at a glance what moved and how far over the selected period.
The reason behind such a move varies. It can be an honest reaction to news or a trend acceleration, or it can be manipulation on a low-liquidity coin where a few large trades move price by tens of percent.
Besides the feed, the section has notification rules: you can set a condition for a specific coin and get an alert when it moves according to the parameters you defined. That removes the need to sit and watch the screen.
What the bot looks for
A sharp directional price movement with high volume over a few minutes.
A pump is a sharp rise, a dump is a sharp fall. It can be either an acceleration of a trend or a manipulation. Often after the first wave a pullback of 30-50% of the movement follows.
Frequently asked questions
Speed and volume. Normal growth is spread over time, a pump fits into minutes and is often accompanied by turnover several times above usual.
By the time the move is obvious, the best part is usually over and the risk of a retrace is at its highest. The section is more useful as a warning about where something unusual is happening.
A sharp rise on thin liquidity is not backed by demand: as soon as the large buyer stops, price returns to where it came from.
Pick a coin and a condition: how many percent it should move and over what period. The alert arrives as soon as the condition is met.
